Wellbeing Sanctuary by-the-sea

Maya’s Beach Hut – Sanctuary by the Sea provides a welcoming and inclusive space for community wellbeing activities, offering support groups, social connection, and opportunities to improve mental, emotional and physical wellbeing in the calming surroundings of the Herne Bay seashore.
The beach hut also serves as a place of rest and rejuvenation for our incredible volunteers, giving them the opportunity to unwind, recharge and enjoy some well-deserved time by the sea.
In addition, we want to offer our fully equipped beach hut as a day outing for struggling families in need. Families must be referred by a community support worker.
We would to like to thank Canterbury Council for providing us with this opportunity to provide an amazing space for the community to use through our Wellbeing groups.
